Gaming today
I had a sudden urge to write a little bit on how I feel about gaming today. It feels different for some reason. Or maybe it’s just me. Maybe writing down how I feel gives me more thoughts about it.
First of I want to mention that I barely get any friends these days. I only meet so many toxic people when I play games. The only game I think might have a potential of making friends in is Final Fantasy XIV. Not games like Valorant, Overwatch or Fortnite. I actually used to make a lot of friends when playing Overwatch, but now I only meet toxic people and it has ruined the game for me. Which is really sad because Overwatch is my favorite game. I don’t know if anyone else has this problem, or if it’s just me. I hope it’s not just me.
I also feel like games are getting so boring. There is no new game that is making me want to play it for hours for many years like League of Legends, Overwatch and Fortnite did. I played those games for many hours everyday for years. But now I’m tired of those games and trying to find new games to get addicted to, but I only end up playing it for like a few weeks then stop. Right now I don’t know what to play. I am waiting on some games that will be released either in like a few months or next year. But I don’t want to sit and wait for a game to come out. I need something while waiting. I can’t stream since I have no idea what I want to play.
This is just some thought I have on gaming for me today. Maybe you don’t have the same experience or maybe you do. If you do, I feel your pain. I am addicted to gaming and need something to play. But at this point I might as well find something else to do. But I have no idea what I want to do.
